I’m honored to announce that I’ve been invited to speak as part of a panel discussion for a Short Film Salon hosted by THE ARTISTS FORUM on Thursday, May 18 at the Dolby Screening Room here in NYC!
The panel discussion will follow a special showcase of short independent films and projects (including narrative, dance films, and spoken word films), created by independent filmmakers around the world, and curated together around the theme of “Reflections on the National Psyche.”
Many of the projects focus on political and social issues that are sure to spark discussion and debate, and we’ll be opening up the discussion to the audience following the screening and initial panel lead question and answer segment. I’ll be sharing the stage with poets David Dephy and Megha Sood.
The Artist’s Forum is a non-profit NYC based arts organization that seeks to empower emerging and mid-career artists by providing accessible platforms to showcase their work and interact with diverse audiences.
I’ve been a proud participant of this organization as a juror for The Artists Forum Festival of the Moving Image (film festival) for 2 years now, and it’s been my honor to be a part of such an established and well run group. Always communicative and always human-first, The Artists Forum finds innovative ways to support and share the work of artists around the world.
Tickets to the Salon are only $10 –
